At MSA, we take pride in our well-developed training structure for youth classes, which has proven to effectively advance students' skill sets. Class levels at MSA are unique, and all students must complete the beginner fundamental Level 1 (LV1) to safely progress. Read on to find out why!
"Fantastic! After just 3 lessons, they have my 10yr old climbing an aerial silk with zero prior experience. They are so patient with her. I love this place so much. I drive from all the way across the border in Indiana for her lessons, and it is so worth it." - Leticia, Google
Our programs are designed and structured by professional artists and fitness experts. There are key elements that students must master first to safely move up. Small class size allows coaches to present a personalized attention to every student. With every session, students may progress in one or more of these elements at their own pace, allowing them to confidently execute higher-level skills. MSA's classes are uniquely categorized by skill level rather than age groups, which has led to positive growth. This structure fosters dynamic social interaction, where students of different ages learn by observing, supporting, and inspiring each other. Once all the required elements in a level are mastered, the coach will advance the student to the next level.
What if my child has previous training experience?
Sometimes, we have students who are new to MSA but have an extensive training background in circus arts, dance, gymnastics, or acrobatics. These students are often placed in LV1 to familiarize themselves with our terminology and usually advance quickly to the next level. Placement assessments may also be requested.
We have become a popular program among families who value physical growth and effective skill development through a disciplined approach to training—while maintaining a non-competitive environment that fosters fun, creativity, and personal expression.
..."I appreciate the focus on real skill building in a supportive environment. I overhear the instructors educating students about the purpose of warmup & conditioning exercises and giving safety cues and corrections. At the end of each session, students put on an informal “show-off” to practice the art of performance. I love that my children have found a gym to help them stay active, learn about exercise, build a unique physical skill set, grow confidence, make friends, and have fun!" - Meredith, Google
