About the event
Is this for me?
We are looking for aspiring artists that have identified their specialty and have been training on it for at least two years. You must have the basic skill set perfected and ready for act creation even though we will spend time perfecting your technique and composing tricks and transitions before we move on to the creation stage and branding. The program is limited to only a few students per cohort, Almas spends time with individual artists to identify weaknesses and strong points after which he outlines a customized training plan to create the best possible act for your unique abilities, personality, and goals. Expect to dedicate at least 25 hours per week for the Act Development Program. Daily and weekly focus will change as the program progresses where you will spend more time with your award winning trainer - Almas Meirmanov towards the end while in the beginning you will have homework assignments as well as training goals that you will be held accountable for. Outside of scheduled training with your coaches you will have access to MSA & Circus Arts training space 8am-4pm M-F. Our program accepts only few artists at a time in order to accomodate custom training schedule and start date. Submit your application today.
About Almas Meirmanov:
Our accelerated program is led by Almas Meirmanov - world class artist that has performed in some of the most reputable productions worldwide, starting off his journey with his father in Ringling Brothers in 1992 and completing his performing career as the closing act with a successful 8 year run in Absinthe Vegas. Throughout his career Almas has been awarded Silver medal in Monte Carlo, Hanoi, Circo de Latina, and received Gold Medal in US Nationals Acrobatic Gymnastics Competition. You might have spotted him in American Ninja Warrior Season 7 as one of the Vegas Finalists! His unique skill set caught the attention of the film industry, Almas has acted and stunt doubled in movies like The Dark Knight, The Unborn, Fred Claus, ER Series, and many others. Now his focus is to help create career paths for young and aspiring artists throughout the world with The Act Development program and the most recent Offstage Series where Almas and his peers cover business insights and topics that are crucial for success as a professional artist.
You will be working with Almas one-on-one throughout the program where he will help you perfect your technique and compose tricks that will make you stand out and raise your reputation to the pro level.
