CAMP RULES

COVID UPDATE AND HEALTH NOTICE 

We ask all parents to inform us immediately if there has been recent exposure or flu-like symptoms in the family. Visit our Gym Rules Section for complete requirements. You can review the chicago.gov/covid for latest updates.

DROP OFF / PICK UP

Students may be dropped off no earlier than 9 am as our staff will be preparing for the camp day activities. No parking is allowed inside the gate, if you wish to walk your child in, please find proper street parking and make sure to check-in with MSA staff member. Drop off is by our entrance gate on Homer Street through our car-line system: MSA staff will greet your child by the gate. Child must remain with a guardian whether inside the car or walking UNTIL checked-in by MSA staff.

Pick up is at 3 pm - 3-15 pm (late pick up will inquire a $20 charge for every 10 minutes  to cover cost of staff members supervising your child) 

Please remain in your car, drive up to MSA gate on Home Street, staff member will ask for your child's last name. If you are walking, please check-in with staff at the gate. Please call 773.687.8840 for any notices or changes.

ATTIRE

The students must dress in comfortable workout attire to allow for unrestricted movement. Easy slip on/off shoes recommended as those are not permitted on the gym floor. Socks or gymnastic shoes optional. No jewelry. Long hair needs to be kept in a tight bun or braided. 

LUNCH / SNACKS

We have one snack break and lunch per day. Healthy breakfast is recommended prior arrival! Please pack lunch, snack, and water in properly insulated container with student's name written clearly on every item. Note we do not have refrigerators for student use or ability to microwave food.

MEDICATION

 It is understood that any severe allergies or other medical conditions (including but not limited to diabetes, epilepsy, etc.) must be fully disclosed BEFORE the child begins the program. If a student needs to take any type of medication while at camp (including but not limited to Tylenol, Advil or Benadryl), parents must notify us in advance how the medication is to be administered. All medication (both prescription and non-prescription) must be in its original packaging. 

BEHAVIOR

It is understood that students are to behave in a polite and respectful manner while at MSA & Circus Arts facility. Profanity, verbal disrespect, name calling and/or bullying of any type will not be tolerated. Moreover, pushing, shoving, hitting or rough-housing of any kind is strictly prohibited. Students are asked to listen and follow instructions to ensure everyone's safety. Students who repeatedly violate the rules and guidelines will be expelled without a refund. 

CANCELATION

 To receive a full refund you must cancel your registration at least 60 days prior to camp start date. If you have switched your camp date, the 60 days will be counted from your original start date. $25 Early Cancelation Fee will be applied.

 

You must notify us via email if you desire to cancel your enrollment.

 

There are no refunds for cancelations made within 60 days of the camp start date we can offer you a full credit for your tuition for a different week within the registered session (providing we have space - please contact us for availability).

 

If camp is canceled because of a natural disaster (including but not limited to storms, floods, pandemics), we will offer you a full credit for another session or future offering - there are no refunds.

Make-up days are considered on a case by case basis if spots are available within the season.

 

With regards to COVID-19, we will be following the guidance of local health officials and the CDC to ensure that we are keeping our campers and their families as well as our staff safe and healthy.

MEDIA RELEASE

It is understood that all images, testimonials, photos, video, and audio taken at MSA & Circus Arts Camp are the sole and exclusive property of MSA & Circus Arts. As a condition of participation, you understand and authorize that photos, video and/or audio may be taken of all attendees. It is also understood and agreed that said content may be used by MSA & Circus Arts promotional materials, marketing collateral, and online media. Please email us if you choose to not be included in the media production.

GENERAL GYM RULES

COVID-19 UPDATE

 

COVID-19 UPDATE For the health and safety of our students and staff, MSA & Circus Arts is taking necessary precautions for all its programs and is continuously updating the requirements based on the Cook County Department of Public Health orders.

We encourage but no longer require masks to be worn at MSA & Circus Arts.  People with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 must notify us via email info@msacircusarts.org for quarantine and isolation guidance.

CHECK-IN / PAYMENT

  • Payment must be received in full prior attendance
  • Students MUST always check in at the front desk once entering facility
  • Students are responsible for booking classes prior to attending (if the class is full and your name is not on the list you will not be able to attend)

LOCKERS

Students must store all personal belongings in lockers and/or shoe storage (no personal belongings on gym floor)

ETIQUETTE

It is understood that students are to behave in a polite and respectful manner while at MSA & Circus Arts facility. Profanity, verbal disrespect, name calling and/or bullying of any type will not be tolerated. Moreover, pushing, shoving, hitting or rough-housing of any kind is strictly prohibited. Students are asked to listen and follow instructions to ensure everyone's safety. Visitors that are not participating in the class can not distract, interrupt or talk to students or coaches during the class time. Anybody who repeatedly violates the rules and guidelines will be expelled without a refund.

  • All individuals must wear face coverings at all times within our center. 

  • No jewelry or loose accessories should be worn during training. 

  • Long hair needs to be kept in a tight bun or braided.

EQIPMENT AND PROPS

  • Do not use equipment without prior approval from MSA coaches

  • Trampoline use or safety lines for independent training require written permission from the MSA lead coach.

  • Any equipment used from the prop room must be returned back to its original place after use.

  • Storing personal equipment without written permission is not allowed.

FOOD AND WATER

  • Water should be kept in designated area and is not allowed on gym floor.

  • No food or open lid beverages are permitted inside the facility.
